If you're considering enrolling on one of our Part-time Adult Courses and would like to speak to a Tutor, or just want to talk to someone about our range of courses and explore your options, you can attend one of our Part-time Enrolment Events taking place in September.

Whether you want to talk about course requirements or want to know exactly what you would learn during an Adult Course, there will be college staff and tutors on hand to answer your questions.

The majority of our courses start week beginning 21st September 2015 so it's not too late to enrol and secure your place.

Part-time Enrolment Events will be held during the following dates and times:

When: Monday 14th September to
Thursday 17th September 2015 - 10.00 am to 8.00pm

Where: Westgate Community College, West Road,
Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 9LU

At the same time, we are also recruiting for our Apprenticeship Scheme. So if you are aged 16 – 18 and looking to earn while you learn, come along and speak to our recruitment team who can tell you about our latest vacancies and how to apply.

Come to Main Reception where you will be guided to the Enrolment Event by a member of staff.

We look forward toseeing you. Tea and coffee will be available.

If you can't make these dates, then don't worry, you can call our free phone number 0800 073 0911 or enrol on line at www.newcastlecitylearning.ac.uk at any time.

NLDC Funding announcement

moneyNeighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities Funding announcement
As a result of a last minute and significant funding reduction to the service we feel that we need to suspend the process for bidding for funds for NLDC while we consider our options in full. This does not necessarily mean that we won't be going ahead with these projects but we don't wish to cause you any unnecessary work on writing and preparing a bid at this moment in time. As soon as we have made a decision on the funding for NLDC projects, we will contact you. In the meantime, we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Our learners have a wide range of abilities, which means that volunteering is interesting, challenging and rewarding. Sessions are held at the Heaton Centre, Trewhitt Road Heaton and also at Westgate College, on the West Road.

If you would be interested in volunteering, and want to know what it involves, please contact Gill Thompson at the Heaton Centre on 0191 2782822.
